It's not a drumstick. It's about the size of a thin pencil, the type which are clipped into a slimline diary or address book.

Is there any possible way for you to post a sharply focused photo of the object?Guessing from a blurry photo is hit and miss, at best.

I invited users of another thread to try and guess. I did this because they should identify the object quickly.

I tried to push the boundaries of this thread.

I'm off lime for the next 12 hours.

The object i posted is used by bakers. It's avery simple object, and I hoped the bulbous shape of the tip would have given away it's purpose, as it is similar to a medical thermometer. The object is a bakers thermometer. See final picture.

So, let's throw the thread open to anyone, if that's OK.
