What is it is open for anyone who wishes to post an object or part of an object for the rest of us to identify.Remember, the photos you use must be your own.

Going to have to yield to you sci. Or anyone else who's got something of interest laying about.
I've searched my place high and low and the best I can come up with are several dozen back issues of National Geographic.
Pretty sad really.

For those of you viewing this thread, the photos you use do not have to be exotic collectibles or unusual items you have around the house. You can use photos of almost any identifiable object. If you use close ups or unusual angles, you can make the hunt quite challenging.

Here's a set of progressive reveals as an example.Start with the close up and gradually reveal more if no one guesses the right answer.

Along with identifying the photos, you can ask for as much extra info on the object as you desire.

What are you looking at?
Who is the manufacturer?
What is the brand and model name?

It looks like a bell of some kind, riveted on to a bar.Could it be a close up of a set of harness or sleigh bells?

What you have is two photos of the stand and holder of a globe. There is not enough info yet to tell who made it.These are photos of the same areas on my globe.

This appears to have the initials;G.F.C. CO. on it,it may be the manufacturer.
Globes by other manufacturers have a similar feature.
