What Happened to "reader" in Safari under IOS 7?

Before updating, when I was in Safari on a newspaper website, after clicking on a story, the address line would give me an option to view the article in "Reader" mode. That option is not given in IOS 7. I've tried it on both the Chicago Tribune and Chicago Sun Times sites. Why would Apple take away this option? It's so much easier to read articles in reader view than scrolling all around the ads.

Is there a Safari option I'm missing somewhere? Thanks.
If it's available, you should find it here:
If you don't find it there, it's not supported by that newspaper. It's also possible that you have to choose a newspaper article first to see this sign.
