I don't think I ever saw that series. I know what you mean about the commercials though, I much prefer to watch BBC programmes because of that.

It's all so exciting when you do it right on the first try!! I'm really glad I did it, because there are some pics on my cannon I don't want to reside on my Mac to save on storage.

I've enjoyed parts of the series by streaming from the iTV app, using VPN from the US. There are too many commercials, though. I will wait to see the whole series at some point without commercials, all in one go.

Right now, I'm rewatching the old BBC series House of Eliott, which unfortunately ends midstream because they canceled it without resolution.

I used to watch that. It was a shame they did that. Very good program.

His character on Downton was great -- much more interesting than Matthew Crawley's one dimension. It would've been good to see an alternative storyline, in which Mary had married him instead.

Relaxing after repainting the deck and handrails in the back garden.


It was so warm that the paint was thickening in the tin while I worked! At least the paint will take 2 hours to dry.

Richard I think if you put your paint bucket inside a pail of ice you will have good results.
