The movers have been here all day. My drill is buy them water and sports drinks a day ahead, throw them in the fridge so they're nice and cold when they help themselves, buy them lunch of choice, and otherwise be available for questions and don't get in their way. I've been watching DVDs while they've been tearing up the place. Watching them work is tiring enough. If I had to pack everything, I'd sooner set the house ablaze.

We're switching vacation homes and everything will go into storage until we pick the new one.

I should go to bed, I have to stand up in a little more than 4 hours. :-(

From tomorrow to Sunday we'll be in South Tyrol. Marching competition for Austrian marching bands, one from each state (except Vienna, but with South Tyrol). We will represent Burgenland.

Guess who'll not be able to sleep now?
I have to try, though.

Contemplating the idiocy of having to drive 9 miles to buy gas.Our local pumps don't pass environmental standards of the day so they've been closed and thus my predicament.

Kay, it's said that one of the most stressful things in life is moving house.

However, once done, it should be a time for looking ahead and enjoying life.

For how many days will the competition last? Do any other activities take place in association with the competition.

Good luck. :)
