iPad Air is great, but I've been procrastinating about setting up email on it, because I've got two-layer password protection on my many accounts, so it's a pain. So I've been hopping back on my iPad 2, which I've been using most on the road, because I still prefer Google maps on iOS 5. Anyway, I hop back on iPad 2 for email, then I start reading other stuff, and I forget that I'm using it vs. retina screen. I mean, clearly retina is sharper, more beautiful. But when I'm reading and otherwise surfing text, I totally blank out on retina or not -- it doesn't actually affect my experience, because I'm immersed in reading. Which boils down to: I really could be reading on parchment and still enjoy it, and yet Apple still got me to buy a new device, lol.

Cheers everyone , yes we had a right laugh about it , my friend was almost crying with laughter at it & even the boss wondered why there was a huge sheet of plasterboard hanging limply from the ceiling we'd only just put up last week .


One minute I was there , the next I was gone and all that was visible was my yellow hard hat ! Lol my leg stings a bit , but I guess humour is the best medicine , probably ache more from the laughing
