It's 23:02 now. Most of the time I stay up until midnight.
Why? What experience did you have? That's too bad your experience wasn't good!
We have stayed at some really nice Holiday Inn expresses and it was quite nice!

It was freezing, when I spoke to the manager in the morning he said "yes, I noticed that"!! The food was cold when it arrived and the smoke alarms flashed.....so all night long there was a flashing light in my room. I really expected better from them. It could be that it was just one of those one-off bad experiences but it has put me right off them.

They gave me a good discount but as my company was paying for it anyway I didn't really get the benefit of the discount. The way I see it is that I have stayed at many different hotels and generally they are falling over themselves to give me good service so if one fails then it's their problem as I won't be back. A lot of our company training courses are held in Holiday Inn's but I'd rather stay at a hotel nearby than stay in a hotel that doesn't come up to scratch.
