Ordering gifts for kiddies. Had a few minutes of panic because I forgot the name of the "right" train among Thomas the Train's many friends. So many of them look the same, but the kids can somehow tell them apart and know which they want!

Also have been ripping movies. Takes forever, and I have so many undone. I might have senile dementia by the time I'm done, and then all the movies will seem "new" to me then.

Said goodbye to first lot of relatives visiting from Adelaide who flew home this morning and now getting ready to go pick up my brother in law and his wife from up the coast who are also visiting from Adelaide.

It is very enjoyable Richard, but exhausting trying to keep up with them all!

They gave me a good discount but as my company was paying for it anyway I didn't really get the benefit of the discount. The way I see it is that I have stayed at many different hotels and generally they are falling over themselves to give me good service so if one fails then it's their problem as I won't be back. A lot of our company training courses are held in Holiday Inn's but I'd rather stay at a hotel nearby than stay in a hotel that doesn't come up to scratch.

Absolutely agree on that! We were in one hotel -- unrelated to this one--that we moved from one room to another because of issues with their air conditioning. Finally, after the 3rd move we went to another hotel! Very frustrating'.

Congrats on the 100 doughnuts! I haven't done the .99 cent scratch offs yet! Glad though to see it was worth your whole! Hope you didn't have to buy too many of them to get that though!

I hear ya about getting panicked when buying things for the little ones, kaykaykay! For them, because they are so special-you want to make it perfect and just right! Part of the fun is watching them open the gifts--that is priceless! I hope you can do the same!
