I just spent an hour cleaning vinyl LPs. I have a modest collection, and like to buy used records, mainly classical, typically for under a buck apiece in good condition. It's a great way to try new kinds of music with almost no investment but the time to hunt it down. And to clean it after returning with a new haul--after up to 55 years, the grooves can get grubby. But most clean up nicely if not scratched, and on good equipment sound better than CD. They're like a time machine into the musical past. Think about it: most of the performers are dead now, but I'm bringing them back to life and enjoying their art.

Ah...Thank you Michigan weather and road conditions. You have now made me change out 2 tires on my car. Thankfully belle tire has great staff to help me with this!!
That's not good! At least I now know why pot holes are so called, because driving to work in the dark it's pot luck if you hit one or not!

Oh we have so many of them here in Michigan--I never have a pot luck, but a pot hole! Seems like last year around this time I was replacing brakes...(((sigh!)))
