Right...helium balloons won't do well wet! I thought rain was in the forecast today...I mean yesterday for you! Now all you need is a gist wind on Thursday to blow the rain clouds away for Friday's event!!

Here's hoping! The forecast keeps changing depending when we look at it.

We were very lucky the last one we held, only rained for 5 minutes but that was enough to kill the balloons....which is such a waste with the time effort and expense involved. Fingers and toes crossed. ;)

Doesn't worry me the prep work......it's tipped for Friday! ;(

Helium balloons don't float when they're wet!

Is that because they weigh more due to the water on them and the lower air pressure reducing available 'buoyancy' or is it something else (or have I been had;) )?

Lol.....no you haven't been had....as soon as they get wet they will just come down.....I do believe you may be right that the rain does outweigh the helium.

I'll be thinking about you my friend! Wishing you good weather and blue skies! ;)

I'm playing around with Apple TV, sky + on demand etc... And playing with AirPlay apps. Loving the fact I can watch everything on my HD TV via my iPad. When technology works, it's scary!
