You have 2. Wow! I always wanted one! Would like another of the ones with the pull down lever if I can ever find one. We call them one armed bandits here or poker machines, pokies.

Mine is a coke one as you can see and I collect other coke memorabilia as well.

We also call the vintage type slot machines one armed bandits. They congregated on large numbers at seaside resorts, in amusement arcades.

I am just catching up on the forum news. We were out camping in our rv for three days ....no wifi..refuse to pay Verizon $20 bucks to play on my iPad in the wilderness just so I can play games. We had a nice time, not as pretty as the pix AA posted of his three acre woods just a couple days before we left though. But it was a nice solitude with some friends. Glad to be back and hear the good news about your promtions....Congrats to both of you, nice to come home to good news to people who deserve it. You do help a lot of people, me included.

Thank you for saying!

Would love to go camping again, something I miss very much! Hubby is definitely not the type though!

Oh you call them that too.....I can never figure out who calls what what! ;)

I would love one of those as it was the first type I ever played on.....I've never liked the buttons, just feels better pulling that handle.

You may be interested to know that lever kits are available for slot machines such as the ones you and I own.

Really! No I didn't know that.....

But I think I'd want an original Sci! ;)

Have you seen the prices of originals? Rare models can go for thousands of dollars.:(:(

I remember when I got mine after searching for months for one, I did see some very old ones which weren't even working and yes they did want about a thousand dollars for each for them.

I'll have to just keep looking and hope I can find one for a decent price. ;)

Warming up my hands after shoveling lots of snow. Should have used gloves. ;-)

Your fingers would have thanked you if you did wear gloves! I can't imagine not wearing gloves when shoveling the snow--just couldn't do it!

You're brave, J.A.! :)

Not brave - too lazy. ;-)

Oh no! Hopefully your fingers won't take too long to defrost! ;)

Gloves, scarf and hat are the first things I look for when I am going out to shovel the snow. I really don't like that freezing feeling! :)

It didn't take long for them to warm up. It's been the third time I'd shoveled today, so it wasn't too much to do. Normally I also use gloves and a headband (I hope that's the right word) when I'm going out to remove the snow.

So far, we have only had two heavy snow falls here. So only twice did we have to shovel, which hasn't been bad, compared to years past. So far, some areas of Michigan has been quite lucky to escape some of the snow lately!

Good luck with your snow shoveling, J.A.--stay warm!
