volume up button missing pressure/klick point

hi!
i never had this before with any device so i am not sure if this is something serious. my volume up button works but doesnt have the klick and same feel when being pushed like al other buttons on any other device.
it is still working though. not sure if this is something i can go to the shop for and change the device - but then if it stops working 1 year and 1 day after i bought it it would be pretty uncool.
any ideas?

Mine has a click you can both hear and feel. It may be a sign your switch is starting to fail.

take it into the apple store, if its not normal they will replace the ipad with another one.
