transfer photos from PC via itunes

• Please can anyone clear this for me. When transfering photos files from my PC via itunes to my iPad 3, do I always have to store and sync the Photos from the same folder on my PC. The reason i ask is that when I sync from a different folder, I seem to loose photos that have been transfered previously to my iPad.

That's why it's called "sync" and not copy. You'll need to manage your PC photo folders with that in mind, moving them into a master folder that iTunes points to. Alternatively, you could email them to yourself, and save them to your Camera Roll.

Yes, it's annoyingly constrained. It's the price we pay for immunity to virus infection.

Synching means transferring everything in itunes to your iPad.
