tracking device for kids

Hi all,
I am looking for a good and portable Tracking device for my 4 year old son and can track him on my mobile/computer.
I usually get scared when i see some lost kids at temples/rail stations etc..
hope to have a facility of SIM for internet access on the device itself ...
hope to get some advice ..
if you do not know pls do ask your friends in and out of india if they use something similar ..

If your son had an turned on iPod in his possession, with find my iPhone activated, you could use find my iPhone to get the current position of the iPod in your Son's possession. The position could be displayed on an iPhone, iPad, or a computer with iTunes and find my iPhone installed and running. Here is the app page in the App Store.
