I've worked out why the iPF messages received chime is odd. IPF sends me a load of notifications simultaneously. Each notification has its own chime. The chain of chimes overlap!

I seem to receive the batch of notifications 36 minutes after the posts have been made.

As they say, "Stranger things happen at sea." :O

Richard, I saw your earlier post last night and told the Admim staff about it. Will keep you posted! :)

Thanks, Skimonkey. I've now switched off the notifications, as suggested by Scofan. I still get batches of messages, without the chained chimes.

My ipad's volume is really messed up. I don't know whats wrong with it, and it only happens when I record. It sounds like a frizzing tv kind of. If I listen to a song or something, the volume works perfectly fine. Its only when I record that the volume problems take action. Someone help. Thanks

It sounds more like a microphone problem than a volume control problem.

Your microphone could be either very sensitive and is picking up noise through the surface or perhaps it being covered by something , check to see if anything is covering the mic hole , failing that you could as previous poster said have a failing or damaged microphone .

I figured out the problem. There were a couple pieces of something in it. And I got them out the volume is working now

Try blowing into the mic hole ,you've either got something stuck or you have a serious connection or loose connection to the mic

What the crap its doing it again!!!

Try the crevice nozzle on your vacuum cleaner, hold it tight to the microphone for a couple of minutes. If that doesn't work, it's time for the Genius appointment.
