Solid case with stand & does not add a ton to the weight

I am looking for a case for my iPad that will add some protection from small drops or things being put on top of it in the car & so on. I looked at the otterbox but it looks to be a bit overkill plus the weight of it is an issue doubles the weight of the iPad I think I saw.

I did buy the Apple case but it's a joke. I can't understand why they did not put a velcro flap or something to keep the cover closed

Look up the Kroo cube case 10". I've got several and LOVE them. I also keep my iPad in one of those $10 cases (all over Amazon.com) that have the kick stand. The 10" Kroo case is a perfect fit for my iPad inside it's padded case. It's a perfect fit even if you carry your iPad bare, too. There's a Velcro strap that holds it nice and tight in the case. Mine was around $15 including shipping. Price shop, there's big price differences with different sellers for the same exact brand case.
