Should I update?

Not that we were hoping something would happen, but the update was pretty anti-climactic, eh? The world didn't end, your apps didn't disappear, your iPad didn't freeze or brick, and the iPad didn't even blink.

Apple updates generally work well as they have a known device that they are writing for. Unlike PC's there are only a couple of configurations of any apple device and they are all known in great detail to Apple. So I generally have not had any issues with updates. There is always a chance with any update for failure. Be sure and sync your Ipad first before updating just in case.
