Photo transfers

How do I transfer photos from my Toshiba laptop? (I plugged my iPad mini into the usb port of my laptop, but could not get any clue of how to go from there.

Use iTunes. Put all of the photographs in one folder on your laptop, then plug your iPad into your USB port. Point iTunes to the folder containing the photographs, and sync.

Note that only images compatible with the iPad will transfer, and you may not be able to delete images loaded onto the iPad this way. You have to delete them from your Photos folder and resync to delete them.
