Photo Transfer App

Need some help with this app or maybe iPhone/iPad, in general. When I take photos, the orientation is sometimes off (as with any camera). Normally with digicam photos, I can rotate a photo or the person I email it to can rotate it.

I bought Photo Transfer App in the hopes that if I downloaded to my PC that I would be able to use my Corel Paint Shop Photo Pro to do some minor adjustments including rotating. It didn't work or I don't know what I am doing.

Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

I don't know the Photo Transfer app but one method I use is:
This is for XP and may be slightly different in 7

iPad / iPhone connected to PC USB port.
Double click My Computer on your desktop, the iPad / iPhone should appear at the bottom of the window which opens under Scanners and Cameras.
Double clicking on its icon opens the camera roll. Make sure you choose Thumbnails under the View menu so you can see which photo is which.
You can then drag copies of the photos to a folder, desktop or whatever.
Now they can be tweaked, rotated to your hearts content in whichever paint program you use on the PC.

But for ipad your got all tools for that in ios-5 ...

Well that didn't work. It locks up every time.

ETA: Re-booted my laptop, and it worked! Thanks very much.
