It looks like I don't have a battery problem. Not sure why, but I had my auto-lock set to off. That must be what drained my battery.

I was able to resolve the issue below by tweaking the following SBSettings options:

Turned off Statusbar IP Addr, Statusbar WI-FI SSID

Once I disabled those to SBSettings options, all worked properly on reboot.

I had previously attempted to uninstall and disable other cydia installed apps and settings to no avail.

Hopefully this helps someone else.

Regarding my earlier post about very strange and difficult problem with ipad after JB and installing Cydia apps :



Well after more than 2 hours of searching and trying everything in my powers, at last I came across this thread :


I downloaded i-funbox (it's an i-file / ssh program).

Connected my ipad, started up i-funbox and navigated to :

Raw File system/Library/Mobile Substrate/DynamicLibraries/

Once there I deleted all Cydia app files...everything I could find that I knew I had installed using Cydia. Just to make my chances of succes as great as possible.

Re-booted the ipad...and YES YES YES...ipad back to normal once again!

Now it's back to see which Cydia app caused this very annoying behaviour.

Wow...this has really kept me busy and rather frustrated for the past hours. But...I have also learned a lot as well. Pheww...now I can go to sleep.

Edit : conclusion is that either ManualCorrectPro and/or DietBar caused this problem. My guess is DietBar, because ManualCorrect (the regular version) works without any problems.

Sure, but it's not really specific to and iPad2 or iPad1; it's more related to the firmware version. Which, in this case is 5.0.1. It doesn't really matter which iPad you have, the firmware is the thing.

Please bear with the newb,
After I have jailbroken my iPad 2 (which I did by restoring to a like new condition), is there any way I can get back the up to date scores from the apps games I've downloaded? If this has been covered I apologize, and please point me in the direction of the post.

EDIT: All files were backed up before jailbreak, if that matters.

Plug your ipad in to your PC and then load itunes. Right click on the ipad in itunes and then Restore. That will get your downloaded apps back.

The title states iKeyWi, so it might be renamed to that to match his iPhone/iPod one of the same name. So, maybe after the Chinese New Year celebration we will hopefully see this for our iPads again! :thumbs:

I will use the other one for my 4S I suppose.
