What benefits does this update have for an iPad2 (running 5.1.1 at the moment)?
As mentioned in your other post over on iPhoneForums, Apple likes total control over their devices unlike Android's open source. Since everything's locked up, you'll need to jailbreak your device to allow certain things to run on the device.
I understand the "control" thing, but if that's the case just don't equip the device. It's not like you have to take it to an apple location to have them jail break it, so why put all these awesome features on the device and not make them accessible? I don't have this feature on any of my devices, however others in my household do and all I can say is; jealousy is an awful thing :-(
