Anyone know whats in the new.update yet?

We don't know yet. But it will surely a BIG update, it won't just be a new dragon, if it's just new dragon they will just give us a sneak peak, but they announce that there's an app update tomorrow, that means something NEW is coming, we have been stock in ver 1.8 since the gemstone island and emerald dragon came out. So let's just guess:

-Race event to support the olympics
-New Island
-Upgraded Nursery
-Additional cap for hibernation cave
-New element dragon

As you play further you'll gain more habitat and new island and you breed more Panlong and level them up to level20, you can make an island full of Panlong, one island can put as much as 14 large earth habitat, 1 fire boost, 1 water boost and the entrance portal. That will make 42 Panlongs. With one Panlong at level20 it will generate 540dc/min, so with 42 Panlongs at level20 each that is equivalent to 22,680dc/min. With max cap of 75,000dc of large earth habitat, you can collect a whopping 1,050,000dc every 47mins!

Lol! Panlong does not cover all the bases, but it does cover earth,vwater, air and fire. So it is a big help in completing four shrines at the same time:-D

Oh, that's right - metal, lightning, hmmmm, anything else? I was SO excited! But it's still good! I'm glad u brought it to my attention though. Now I'm thinking I should make hybrids that cover what panlongs is missing. Wonder if backflip will hook us up with a multi-cover-hybrid that will cover non-panlong habitats. (how do u like my made up words, lol,.,)

While I was sleeping I had a dream about planet dragons. Maybe bfs reads our wish list cause when you search dragonvale on google this forum is on the first page. A lot of our wishes have already been granted and that was one thing that was mentioned multiple times. Keeping my fingers crossed!

Not quite yet I hope. I am ALMOST to lvl 30, which was the cap when I started. I want to get a little closer before they raise it again.

I'm guessing the race event is only for sun, moon, rainbow, treasure, solstice, LYD, and gemstone dragons only. We already have event for regular dragons. Just guessing!

I was reading the posts on dvs Facebook and so many people are asking to trade dragons. That is a bad idea. It would defeat the purpose of the limited time dragons because they wouldnt be limited anymore.

Maybe they really don't know the whole purpose of the game, they are not really a Dragonvale Fanatic like us.

Yes, I would like to get the limited dragons I missed, but then new players could beat the game in a few weeks. I'd rather wait for them to come out again. If not, I suppose that is my loss.
