No, people are kinda rude. I actually don't have many friends right now cause I just moved to Madison from the northern half of the state and people aren't being too welcoming. I try to make friends, get their # and everything but they never answer my calls or texts. As an adult it is kinda hard to make new friends sense there isn't school.

That sounds kinda rough... I hope that the people at your new school will take it easy on you and u will make friends soon

You know why Filipino called hospitable?

There are many aspects of Filipino hospitality.

- Guests are automatically invited to a meal, even when food is scarce.
- If someone turns up unexpectedly at a Filipino home during meal times, whatever food is on the table is shared with the visitor, even if it means not having enough for the rest of the family.
- Guests are entitled to the best room and bed in the house and are provided with clothes and other amenities as needed
- The best food that a family can provide is served during a visitor's stay
- Filipinos are very pleasant and warm to visitors and take the time and effort to entertain them and make the feel comfortable and part of the family. Filipinos love to laugh and joke, even in the worst of conditions or circumstances.
- When visitors leave, they are given gifts to bring home
- In short, there is an unusual desire to please the guest

Yeah Filipino food may not be as famous as that of other country . But with more than 7,000 islands and a colorful history, this archipelago has some delicious dishes of its own.

there’s more to Filipino dishes than the mind-boggling balut (duck embryo). ;)

To name a few:
Abodo, Lechon, Sisig, Crispy Pata, Bulalo, Kare-Kare, Sinigang, Kaldereta, Dinuguan. For dessert: Halo-Halo, Leche Flan, Bibingka, Puto Bumbong, Suman,Pastillas, Buko Pie, Taho. Etc. i can name more than 50 top Filipino Dishes. ;)

I was raised with similar guidelines. I have been told sense living here that I am very polite. I don't interrupt people when they are talking(unless they are drunk, but then you don't really have a choice) if there isn't enough food to go around then I don't eat. Children get first dibs on food. Etc etc etc...
