has anyone seen the "no sim card detected" message at startup? also says "no Sim" at top left. any ideas?

Your sim card might be bad. I've had 2 go bad on me.

If you have a sim card in the holder,it's not being detected by the iPad. Have you tried removing and re-inserting the card?

update: i have had the sim card replaced and its in correctly. att has sent me to apple support. Apple has had me do a backup and restore. i still get the no sim message. now i have a repair ticket number to send them my, 4 months out of warranty, Ipad.
they say it will cost at least $250.00 if i choose to fix it.
