Hello... I am a new member to the Forum and a new iPad 2 user (1 week ago). I hope to visit the forum often to help me with my iPad. I have low vision and I wasn't sure an iPad 2 was the right device for me. I am interested in all apps that help people with low vision. Thank you - Shinpad78

You've probably already seen the options under accessibility in Settings--zoom, large text, text to speech, etc. You might also want to use Dragon Dictation and Dragon Search.

I've had my iPad for 6 days, so almost the same as you. I hope you're enjoying your iPad, and you find the kinds of apps and tweaks you're looking for. :D

Good to hear from you. You’ll find a whole bunch of iPad enthusiasts in this Forum who are only too willing to help other iPad owners and to hear of their experiences. Don’t be afraid to post any questions you may have or use the ‘Search’ button near the top of the Forum web page. I usually find I discover one new interesting and useful piece of information about my iPad every day - and often not even what I was looking for!!

Hope to hear from you soon with your thoughts about the iPad.

Have fun and enjoy your iPad

If you don’t already have it you can download a copy of the iPad manual for free.
