Hi:I want to see what the fuss is all about.
I`ve been a PC tech for awhile but this Ipad
is my initiation vehicle
Right off the bat,i miss the extention slots...
guess you use the cloud service but i don`t know
much yet.
And so,what are the +`s and -`s of jailbreaking?
How and why should anyone do this?

Hi, and welcome. It's good to "see" you and I hope you enjoy your time here.

The iPad was my first Apple device, so I understand how weird and fun a time you're having/will have. [emoji4] Just know we're here to chat, help, commiserate, etc.

There's an entire forum on jailbreaking, so I'll just refer you to that (starting here: iPad Hacking)

However, only certain iOS are jailbreak-able at this time. As far as I know, nothing past iOS 9.3.3 is breakable (and that iOS is done,with a weird semi-tethered method). So, it's a waiting game for the newer iOSs.
