Okay ~ I called NF. You were right and I knew I read it somewhere too! I would need a Patch Cable from Apple. Hook it up to the iPad and then to the TV.

He didn't know how much it was though ~

Ok so there is iPad to via plug but how do you get the rgb/rya type cables, I'm thinking the older tbs in some out of the way hotels are not going to have a monitor style VGA port.

Ok so I researched, saw the av specific and yeah, Frys has them so can run get a set.... Can I get the component (5 line) and use it backward as a 3 line if I have to?

Yeah I was reading and they are not backward compatible so you gotta buy the one that goes with your tv hookups....which is fine when you know what tv you're going to use but not so great when you are visiting and have no advanced knowledge of the structure. Guess I'll keep packing the wii.

I am not real comfortable using my iPad. Not sure why.
Don't be afraid of your iPad. It doesn't have any teeth!

I have a new iPad 64 gig 3g machine. I have loaded, deleted, and then reloaded the netflix app. I cannot get it to work. I get the following error message each time I attempt to view a movie advertized as an insta-view movie:

Alert. Sorry we could not reach the Netflix srevice. Please try again later. If the problem persists please visit netflix.com (104)

Has been happening for 4 days and I can't find anything on teh netflix website related to this.

Probably something simple. Any ideas?

Jim

aww...Brenn! I'm sorry! I would do that, too. Buy the wrong ones.:D. I am just looking for a way that is not to expensive, to stream movies from Netflix to my TV.

It is not going well, I might add.
