how long was the "prepared for shipment" status? mine changed to that yesterday.

It just flipped from one to the other today-- maybe last night. I ordered it May 20 and it said "ships Jun 4" until today. Now I'm tracking it. It's in Hong Kong.

Same. It has pretty much replaced my MacBook Pro, I rarely use it anymore because my iPad does everything I need - web, email, video, music, etc.

People say it's a big iPod.... But it's not. Oh no it is not.

I am somewhat in the same boat. Mine still says in Transit to Lantau. Been like that since 3:11am my time. Hopefully I can get it before my trip next week.

Oh my god! Soooo happy! Mine shipped 5 days earlier than the expected ship date and is being delivered 4 days earlier than expected.

Order Date: May 23rd

It was supposed to ship June 8th and be delivered June 11th according to Apple.com, but I got my tracking number this morning and it's already been picked up and is currently in SHENZHEN CN! Estimated Delivery on Fedex tracking said June 7th, but it changed to June 8th a few minutes ago.

Hopefully I'll still get it on the 7th!

Somehow mine skipped Alaska and is in Memphis. Mine left Shenzhen on June 3 at 8:49 am local scan time.

It's here. It arrived this morning at 9:00. I can't believe it. It just got to California last night. Now, here I am typing out this post on it.
