iPad thinks I am not in the USA

I have tried to watch ABC and Cinema Now through Roku on my iPad and it keeps telling me I cannot get these apps outside the United States. I am in Pennsylvania and I bought this iPad here. How do I fix this? I hope someone can help me.

Try going to Settings>General>Language & Region>Region and make sure it's set to the United States. Let us know if it works for you.

You're not using a VPN service, are you?

Yes, does that make a difference?

If the VPN server is located outside the USA, it would make your streaming channels think you're located outside the USA and ineligible to receive their services.
