Different strokes for different folks, as the saying goes. I never go to those media events, although I did go by an iPhone intro just to see the lines once when I had other business in the mall. I have too much to do, to stand in line for a gadget, no matter how nice. I also have zero interest in the royal wedding, and most of the hoopla out of Hollywood. Some people like a party. Look at the popularity of those 'flash' mobs. Silly nonsense as far as I see, but you are only young for a few years. At that age, I raced cars, explored caves, and a bunch of other things that many would consider stupid.
