iPad MobileMe tracking - alert?

Installed MobileMe on ipad and works great and I can remotely monitor.

As my ipad is usually at home; apart from constantly checking on the web to see if ipad is still at home....
is there a way to send an alert (email?) if ipad moves away from a predetermined location?

That would be an excellent upgrade, send an email to the developer.

Kinda like having an ankle bracelet on ur iPAD.

If you're really dying for that feature, the iHound Tracker app sends alerts. You basically create 'geofences' (geographic locations) which will send out email or push notifications when your iPad exits/enters the geofence. You can monitor this from your iPhone or computer. It costs $3.99 though...
