IPad 2 3G Network settings

Dear Support team,

I would like to ask you something. I am a new IPad 2 3G user and I am very often on business trip abroad. Therefore I do not want to use always my 3G connectivity because of the higher cost and I would like to ask how could be set the network that the IPad 2 to use first of all the available Wi-Fi networks and if no Wi-Fi is available, than to use the 3G network.

Welcome!!

The iPad will always - absolutely always - use WiFi first. It can even be annoying at times!! If you have an incredibly poor WiFi connection your iPad will 'hang on in there' even though the 3G is better.

So, no need to worry, the iPad - always - absolutely always - uses WiFi first....
