Is there a restriction on how far back in time calendar entries are searched?
If you have been recording dental appointments over the previous 5 years it appears that only the last entry is displayed in search results.

The standard iPad calendar will search back only 12 months. But there are several third party calendar apps - I use Informant HD - that don't suffer from this restriction.
