Thank you for providing the link! Is it really lit the whole time? (Even at day?)

Walking around Darscho again today, I saw a deer:

It was about 15 m away from me and was gone when I came nearer.

"Half House". This strange half house is in Alaska. Five "stories" high, and an unofficial land mark. LOL. It's often used when giving directions. As in; "go three miles past the "half house" and turn to the driveway on right.... :)
Hi Iriana, I know how dangerous moose can be. What I would love to know is -have you been in that house? If so is the flat tall side mostly windows or mostly closed in? If you've been in there what does that side of the house look at? Thanks, Iriana , great photo's!

Johanna,
My cousin lives on about a thousand acres. She sent me a photo of a cow who started munching on one of those round bales of hay. She started right at the center and ate herself a hole right through to the other side! When she came out the other side there was hay wrapped all the way around her body! The other cows would come a munch on her when they were hungry. In the end she had a great big crown of hay left on the top of her head like a crown! :-)

That must have looked funny. :-)

Great photos again Johanna. By "walking around" do you mean around Lake Darscho and is that water a picture of it? Andrew Sent from Oz using Tapatalk
Thank you, Andrew!
Yes, that's what I meant. The water is from that lake/pond.

Thanks again Johanna. It's just that I thought initially from this googled map that your village was some distance from it.

But now that you call it also a pond I realise that is the source of your great photos from your village lake all this time. Keep snapping away!!:)

All of those beautiful fields makes me homesick for what was! Riding bareback for miles around. Getting thrown once or twice whEn someone would start up a tractor that backfired!, :D

Just to show where I'm walking most ot the time:

The lake/pond (I only need 45 minutes to return to the starting point, it really isn't large) and in the background Apetlon. The church is clearly visible.
The village next to ours (Illmitz) is somewhere in the distance here, to the left side of that single tree, under the bird:
