I'm having problems with sending emails and unsure as to why

Hi Bernadette72,
I had the same problem very recently. I bought my ipad3 a few days ago and although it was very easy to set up my Gmail account, I had to manually set up my own email business account. Everything seemed fine until yesterday when I replied to emails they were being rejected by the server and placed in the outbox. Very frustrating because my only solution was to remove the account and set up again. So far so good but I am not holding my breath. Unfortunately, it appears that iPad software will not allow my account to use SSL and I had to set it up without it. Hope this helps.

Just a thought, best check with your isp regarding settings. Put the situation to them and they should be able to resolve the issue.

Well, like I said, I didn't hold my breath. The problem of not being able to send emails from my .co.uk business account has returned. Very frustrating but I am sure someone has an answer. I have checked and double checked my settings till I know them off by heart. I am in the US at the moment so will speak to my service provider next week on my return. Fortunately, I have my trusty heavy laptop which I intend to leave here anyway. I really would appreciate some assistance but this issue seems quite common from what I see on the web.
