What's new

I sometimes wonder

If the programmers at Apple actually use their products sometimes. I’ve come across several instances where settings are not consistent across the OS or in the wrong place. Case in point. In the Photos app, why is the + New Album right at the bottom of the list in the app? Shouldn’t it be just under the “Album” sub heading for users convenience?

Here’s another example. Why do you have to access a sub menu to Recover or Delete photos in the Recently Deleted Folder?? There is plenty of room at the bottom to make it a one step operation.

It’s the same with the Notes app. There is room at the top for a Delete icon as well, making it once again a single step operation. Also room for an “Undo” if needed.

The point is, Apple literally wrote the book on interface design, and consistency was THE key principle. It seems their current team has not read the book.w

And another thing, I really wish I could remove the undo button on the keyboard (when you select numbers). The number of times I’ve accidentally deleted stuff my mistakenly hitting the undo button. Does anyone use the undo function?
