That’s why I said there’s room for an undo as well.

If you delete a note the menu that appears refers to the next note so an undo button for the previous note would not be entirely rational.

I do, occasionally. i have problems hitting caps lock instead of “a,” leaving a string of unwanted capital letters to delete and retype.

Well it’s not entirely rational not to have a delete button either. As said, the OS isn’t consistent.
