If you can't remember the passcode, you will have to restore the iPad to factory settings. All your data will be lost if you do restore. If your backups have the passcode on them, you will have to set it up as a new iPad.

You can't login to your own ipad? Something's not right.

Quick question if someone steals your Ipad and it has a passcode can they remove this passcode and turn off "Find my Iphone" app? Someone stole 2 iPads from me 1 being my Mum's and mine had the app turned and my phone keeps saying thats its Offline so I'm assuming its just not connected to the internet for me to be able to find it but can they actually turn this off?

They can't crack your pass code, but they can connect it to iTunes on their computer and do a factory restore on it, erasing everything and restoring it to factory condition.
