Ipad2 is showing it disabled

Hi can anyone help me when i put my ipad2 on it comes up IPAD DISABLED connect to itunes on the screen ... But its not connecting to internet in corner of screen !!

This normally happens when you enter the wrong password too many times. What connect to iTunes means is that you open itunes on your computer, then connect your ipad. It doesn't mean to connect to the iTunes Store. To get your iPad working you'll have to restore your iPad, which will erase all content. You can then set it up as a new iPad or from a backup. The bad news is that if the backup was made after you set the password that was forgotten, setting up from that backup will also install that password and you'll still be locked out. In that case you'll have to set it up as a new iPad and manually download your content.
