I have IPad model md368ll/a. Which ipad do I have? Is it a 3rd generation? Does it have retina display? All I know is my screen is much more clear than my wife's version 1 ipad. On this model that I have, should I load iOS 7? Cnet says iOS 7 slows down older iPads but I am not sure if mi ipad would be considered "old"????

According to a quick Google search, you have a third generation iPad. So, no, it's not that old. It's the same one I have and I've installed iOS 7 on it. It seems to be working fine for me.

Hope this helps.

Go on to apple.com, under support scroll to the bottom and click check service and support coverage. This will prompt you to enter serial number, which can be found under settings > about. It will tell you what device it is then.
