How to restore photos from iPad after upgrading

I upgraded my iPad and lost everything! Nothing saved I was able to restore my apps but all my photos and videos are gone is there anyway restoring them? help! Wish I would of never upgraded my iPad!

Did you back to iTunes prior to upgrade if so. Open I tune Preference Device menu will show you the last back up(s). You can restore from back up nothing is lost.
