How to delete a playlist from Ipad

Please help as I want to delete a playlist in the Ipad.
As i followed the instruction given in //ipodiphoneitunestutorials. com/iPadTutorials/remove-and-delete-playlists-on-ipad. php.

When in Ipod app, tappin the playlist, I dont get "edit" option.
Appreciate yr help. tks

Was this playlist synchronised with your PC using iTunes? i.e. you did not create the playlist on the iPad itself but imported it using a sync operation? If so, it can't be deleted on the iPad itself, you need to delete it from your PC and then synchronise your iPad and PC again.
