I remember the Intel 1103 - the first semiconductor RAM chip. It had 1024 bits of memory....so let's do the math....
To get a megabit - we'd need a 1024 chips
To get a megabyte - we'd need 8192 chips
To get a gigabyte - we'd need 8192 x 1024 chips = 8,388,608 chips
If we had a 64 GB iPad then we'd need....
8192 x 1024 x 64 = 536,870,912 Intel 1103 dynamic RAM chips
each chips weighed 10 grams...
So our iPad would weigh at least.....
5,368,709.12 kg....
