How do you get the smileycons? emoji/emoticons?

Well, I have it-but I cannot get symbols to show on the forum or Facebook. Just wondering if anybody else had this issue.

Do you mean when you view the forum with your iPad or with a non-Apple device?

Because, AFAIK, the emojis that work on the iDevices aren't cross-platform. They can only be seen with other iDevices.

Hi mickey-when I use the emoticons on the forum.

I can see the pictures from my end on my iPad, but when I press the send button to views all I see are squares. It really isn't a big deal, but just wanted to know if it was user error or not!!

In IOS5 Apple has included the Emoji keyboard, you can access it in Setting>General>International>Keyboards>Add New Keyboard>Emoji. Enjoy

There MUST be a way to use emoticons/smileys on an iPad. I don't want to go to my clunky old desktop to use it
