You were on the right track with the karate comment you made above. The object with the figure is a key part (in name, anyway) of the figure.

That's pancakes, right? And a bowling ball? And something/someone named bug and its/his girlfriend? ;-)

Ultimately, the game comes down to your Google-Fu (ability to search the right terms) so try googling what you see in the image. I know once I find the answer, I give myself a dope slap and think "Why didn't I search it this way or that way?"
