Can I refuse a boat if I don't like the items or do I have to let it come and go in the allotted time?

You can refuse it. Send it away by selecting the boat icon when viewing the shipment request.

What happen if you refuse a boat? Will the delay for the next boat becomes longer?
Also, is it true that you can fulfill just partial of the request and still get paid (altho maybe not full payment)?

My experience has been the waiting time is 4 hours after a completed shipment until the next boat. A dismissed boat yielded 12 hours until the next boat.

Yes you can partially fill a shipment but you cannot send the boat unless it is completely empty or completely full. So once you start trying to fill a shipment, the boat won't depart until the time has expired.

I was able to capture two foxes by creating large open area near the main road. It seems foxes dont come near the buildings or fences. So i made open area that had only couple trees and waited patiently. It took few hours for the fox to enter the open area and then i used fences to box her in.

Yes, I'm sure it was she as today couple days later a second one followed. I was able to box him too using the same tactic :) Now i'm trying to get them to the same stone cage.

Make sure the cage is big enough and dont place wall on top of the fox or frog. It has happened that at least frog passes walls if the wall is plased on top of them or the box was too small for them to jump around.

Been waiting for 2 days...
And I've only got 4 foxes... still catching them...
WHY ARE THOSE FOXES SO DARN HARD TO CATCH??!!

Actually I think there's bug in the game that the foxes will penetrate wood fences and sometimes stone walls.
I managed to not let them go through by quickly browsing others farms and going back to mine.
Oh sometimes you can tap those foxes but sometimes you can't. Just do that trick again and everything's fine.

Yeah, all the foxes I caught always escaped, even when I used a stone wall. And it would always be during a time when I wasn't using the game. So when I'd come back to it, they'd all be outside of the fence.

Why are you people after the foxes :D:D

Yes obviously supercell developers doesn't track your foxes as they are placed randomly for just animation purpose. Not like your farm animals :p

Does anyone know how to get rid of the chicken coop my daughter added. The last thing I need is more eggs!
Also, how can you tell the difference between silver and platinum ore when you are buying it?

So, I've been curious with you advanced players...

1. How long did it take for you to gather the $16,000 to repair the dock (in realtime, for example days/weeks of playing)? And how long did it take to repair the dock (in hours?)

2. How much is the maximum queue slot you can expand in a machine? I already expanded up to 5 slots in my Sugar Mill, but there's still the 6th slot with 15 diamonds needed to open it.. It sure takes LOTS of diamonds to expand the machines :(

3. How do you afford diamonds? Did you buy with real money using in-game purchase? Or using cheats (if there's any)?

Thanks loads, happy harvesting ^___^

1. Before the update I was making a lot of money just selling building materials. When the latest update came out I had more than enough money to repair the dock plus repair the mine. I still remember waking up that morning of the update. I had a little over $73,000.

2. Don't know because I never expanded any of my farm equipment.

3. I NEVER and I repeat NEVER spend real money on ANY iOS game. NEVER!

4. Since building the mine I found 14 diamonds. I have a lot more than that. I also take a current pic since the update of my money and diamond count since I lost one for no apparent reason.

On a side note this game was more fun before the update. I don't like time management games and that is exactly what the boat is a time management game. I can put up with the walk up customers coming back sooner than before and requesting just about half your stock of that particular item but I won't put up with the crops dying like some other farming games. Hay Day Devs don't mess up the crops like you did the trees and bushes.

I loved this game when I first started. There was so much to do. Now at level 28, things are slow.... Dock orders are long and there's always at least one item I don't and can't get. The ads in the newspapers don't have what I need and the delivery orders take forever or ask for things I can't make. (ore, juices). I have increased my silo and barn several times but its never big enough. I want a juicer but 36,000 to get it? It will take awhile. We need another update! Love the fruit bushes and trees but die too soon!!

Wow, glad to finally find a discussion thread for Hay Day - wish I would have found it back when I started the game!

Wanted to respond to a few issue I see coming up several times in the thread.

fruit trees & bushes. l only harvest them until they are mature & then regard them as decorative. They add lots of color to your farm and considering that you do get a few harvests out of them, they are inexpensive decoration.

The mine - if you haven't opened it yet, I wouldn't spend the money. There always seems to be lots of ore for sale. Just buy the smelter.

Foxes - could be my imagination, but seems to me that when I see a fox as I visit other farms looking for materials for expansion that there will also be a tool box to open ( fox/box)

Anyone know if there is a max on capacity for barn &/or silo? I'm at 350 on both, but always seem to be close to capacity.

Does everyone have only silver, gold & platinum bars on their bullies board? Forces me to do most of my selling through the roadside stand. Those who walk up always seem to want either something I don't have, or something I am trying to accumulate for the boat.

Thanks!

Thanks for that! I was contemplating about opening the mine....but 26000?! I bought the smelter and alway find cheap ore, so i figured it'll be cheaper to buy the ore rather than spending the money on the mine. Or do you find so many diamonds that it's still worth opening the mine? What do you all think?

As for the tree/FB issue... I opened a fake FB account, had all my trees and bushes restored by friends and other players (have restored several myself when shopping at roadside stalls and looking through other farms). It's a little hassle, but worth getting another crop.

Checking through the data folder in Hay Day app you will find almost all the info you want, and they are all stored in CSV format. So Both silo and barn have a capacity up to 1000 each.

You think the mine costs too much...

Yes you are @Holidae. I always like visiting your farm, admiring the beautiful views, the expensive machineries... I am admiring you! :D
