How come Greg doesn't have more than 6 selling spots? LOL.
Why is Greg still level 30?
I use to admire Greg's farm but not anymore.

It's all pre-configured in game_config.csv

You can change Greg's name, of course, and his level. Although he's just some kind of Artificial Intelligence, I changed his level to 50, previously thought that no one could beat him but... sadly I found a guy who's on level 50...

It seems it is quite easy to repeat the feature to open many mystery boxes to get the good stuff.

1. Have your barn almost full (one or two open slots)
2. Visit a friend who is listed 3rd or 5th last in your friend list (I have over 100 friends)
3. Open mystery box and visit the same friend again by having the friend list open.
4. Visit the same friend again and again. The mystery box seem to be there allways, but not allways giving good stuff. In the end the box is locked.
5. Repeat after like 24 hours..

Here is a sample I have gathered this week, while selling a ton of building materials. Just ordered 5th smelter..

Do I need to keep the barn almost full every time before I can get hundreds of materials?
The boxes are always locked, donno why.


Oh, actually you don't have to wait for 24 hours just get your barn full and do that visit thing. I am now getting tons of duct tapes.
But no other things.

Now I believe you just need to visit 5th last or so friend and the mystery box is there always. After a while it is locked, wait some time (usually hours) and continue opening

You dont need to have barn full. But if you have, box keeps giving you the same item. Handy if you want plenty of building material to sell.

You are right, just sold 90 duct tapes and I'm getting 100K coins almost... ha ha such a good day but my foxes don't come by that often...

Is anyone else having trouble placing items in the roadside stall - each time I lose connection to the server and the item is still in my barn

In my case that happens when I have modified some values in CSV files. Such as prices, which leads to the mismatch of SHA1 values that lie in fingerprint.json.
Maybe you can try to uninstall & reinstall the app and see how it is going, data won't be lost.

Forgive me if I'm wrong... If you don't know what I'm talking about... Ignoring me is fine...

I appreciate that. I had a good laugh after I realized what I thought was a 5 diamond surplus was actually a 5 diamond deficiency.

I have one field too few. When I got to level thirty or 31, it gave only two new fields. Shop shows 51 fields has been bought but I can locate only 50 in my farm. I guess my farmer has been lazy and forget to plow one

Wow, I made double post..

Another bug was hitting the mine fast multiple times to collect a ton of ore I has kept there uncollected for few days. I was propobly too fast with tapping and collection animation continued a while after stopping, but no items were added to my barn and three diamonds were not added.

Ps. Today I found the bolts I was looking for visiting my 5th last friend multiple times. I tried to also see how high can you aim with going over barn limit. My barn max was around max 575 when I started collecting, at 899 the new mustery box items were not added anymore to the barn. Actually it jumped from 899 to 897. Tried couple times, but it did not go over 900. I got a bit nervous and went fast back home and used all my barn building materials (about 3 x 180). Now my barn size is 750 =)

Newbee in Hay Day.. So far so good. I am at level 13 now.. And yees Greg still level 30 ;D
