having problems with keyboard.

using the quick office hd. will not hold cap lock across cells, will not stay n the cell I want. jumps from cell to cell as it wants.. also in the word type docs it jumps all over place. I am being careful to keep fingers away except from keyboard. ap developer thinks it is a keyboard, apple problem. am I alone?

new to apples, iPad any help would be appreciated
