Thought we should all chime in and tell our funny stories related to the iPad. And no, that SNL bit won't suffice

Mine's kinda stupid... but under the circumstances I found it hilarious!

I decided to form a BT partnership between my Touch Pro 2 (running custom WM6.5 ROM) and iPad. Had the iPad on discoverable and the TP2 looking. the TP2 found the iPad, forms the partnership by entering the code then the phone starts scanning for services. After a few seconds it comes back with a message on the screen saying "there's nothing we're interested in"

Night one: "ahhhhh your amazing". Girly had a huge smile on her face an didn't say a word.

Night two: "I love you". Girly replies "I love you too babe". Shocked, I said "..yes....".


If only my girly knew I was talking about the pad!

My friends are well aware that I am long time iPhone user.

So about when I first got my iPad I was going to meet some friends in a bar for a quick beer. They didn't know I had iPad yet, and I kept it concealed as I walked in.

Set a timer on my iPhone using my usual ring tone as its alarm, and set it on the bar while I talked with friends.

Timer went off and I acted like I was going to answer phone, but made it appear that I fumbled with it and it was falling. As I was bent over, appearing to catch iPhone, I swapped it for iPad and as I came back up I had iPad to ear talking as if I just answered phone.

The looks were priceless.

I did that last night. Had a couple of buddies over but they knew I had gotten the iPad. I went inside for a few moments and came back in the backyard holding the iPad on my ear and talking all serious! Needless to say they burst in laughter.

My best buddy gets a new iPad and brings it to the pub to show off to everyone. His iPad is only 4 hours old when it reaches the pub.

Once everyone is settled around the table, he pulls it out his bag and puts it on the table to show everyone.

Another friend is so eager to play he knocks over the full pint of beer in front of him which goes all of over the iPad. The iPad is now 4.5 hours old, very sticky and stinking of beer and my best buddy has an expression on his face like someone has stamped on his dog!

Lesson is beer and iPads do not go!
