Editing an email

Hi,
I'm new to the iPad2, ok excuse over....
If I miss a letter from the middle of a word when composing an email I want to be able to put the cursor into the middle of the word to add the missing letter. How do I do that?

Hi there and welcome.

Touch and hold the word, a small magnifying circle will appear and you can drag or rock your finger to get the cursor in the right position then just let go.

There is lots of good advice and info on here plus plenty of members all too willing to help with any problems.
